You guys, I had to share this one—I just got back from a Goodwill trip, and let’s just say, my gut was absolutely right to trust it. I set out with a goal (you know I’m trying not to buy too many large items, though I definitely broke my own rule once or twice!), and I walked away with an incredible haul for just $40.
I’m talking about unique treasures that had me doing a double-take on the shelves. Whether you’re a fan of vintage pottery, art glass, or quirky desk decor, this haul has it all.

The Highlights: What Came Home With Me
I’m currently busy getting everything cleaned up and listed, but here is a sneak peek at the gems that are heading to my eBay shop:
- Mysterious Stone Sculptures: I grabbed two heavy, smooth, stone-like pieces—one from a shelf and one randomly found in a grab bag. After a little wheeling and dealing with the cashier, I managed to get them both for the price of one! They have these gorgeous green and brown tones that feel so solid and high-quality.
- The “Looming Tree” Candle Holder: This piece caught my eye immediately. It features an intricate metal design with little birds and flowers, topped with a spot for a candle. It looks like a whimsical, looming tree, and at only $6.99, it was a total “must-have.”
- Vintage Three Rivers Pottery: My son has officially turned me into an apple-hunter! I found a cute 1991 apple-shaped dish from Three Rivers Pottery. It’s a fun, vintage piece that’s perfect for adding a touch of personality to a bookshelf.
- Stunning Art Glass: I paid a little more for this one, but I simply cannot resist art glass. It’s a beautiful little bowl with a mix of yellow, blue, and red tones. It appears to be hand-blown and has a really lovely, quality feel to it.
- Vintage Egg Sculptures: I actually found two egg-themed pieces! One is a neat design made in India that I found on a stand, and the other is a really detailed brass piece that just screamed “buy me” the moment I saw it. These are going to look so sharp on a desk or bookcase.
- Herrera Cat Tile: Any cat lovers out there? I found this large, beautiful tile featuring a cat lounging on a colorful rug. It was made in Japan in 1982, and the condition is just stellar.
- CorningWare Platter: I see the cookware all the time, but this was my first time spotting a CorningWare platter! It’s lightweight, classic, and a great addition for anyone who collects the line.
